Accurate geometry measurement is a crucial step in creating tomograms with the PiCUS Sonic Tomograph or the PiCUS TreeTronic. To make measurements even more precise and convenient, especially on trees with large or complex trunk circumferences, an XL extension is now available in addition to the existing M measuring arms and L extension. This expands the measurement range from 160 mm to 2,700 mm.
The new XL extension offers a key advantage: it consists of a single, continuous component that attaches directly to the PiCUS Calliper. An integrated sensor automatically detects the XL extension, allowing it to be used immediately without any additional configuration.
Already own a PiCUS Calliper? No problem. With a minor upgrade to your existing device, you can easily retrofit the new XL extension and put it into operation right away.
