Description
The updated software for conducting tensile tests using the PTQ measuring system is the successor to the PTQ.App. It combines the core functions of the classic PC software with a modernized project structure that guides the user intuitively through the tensile test process.
Capturing photos, GPS data, and notes directly in the field integrates seamlessly into existing projects. Mobile device sensors offer additional features such as measuring the heights of trees and sensors. Real-time synchronization with the IML Cloud ensures that all data remains up-to-date across all platforms.
The newly added availability for mobile platforms provides convenient alternatives to using a laptop.
The new app offers the following features, among others:
- Automatic project management
- Project synchronization via the IML Cloud
- Storage of all measurement data on the mobile device
- New graphical display of live data (in addition to the classic numerical display)
- Documentation of the measurement setup, mounting height, and sensor orientation
- Documentation photos can be taken directly and saved in the project
- Automatic calculation of the rope angle at maximum tensile force
- Increased Bluetooth range (depending on the Bluetooth standard of the mobile device)
- More than double the measurement data recording rate!
The recorded measurements are available in plain text and can be further processed after the test using additional software (arbostat, http://www.arbosafe.com).
