Testing Procedure
Select a Pocket Diagnostics test. If possible, choose a part of the plant where diseased and healthy material meet; do not use dead material. Use about 25 mm² of material (see Figure 1).
Cut or tear the sample into small pieces and place them in the bottle.
Shake vigorously for 30 seconds (longer for tougher samples).
Wait 30 seconds for the solution to settle, then draw the liquid into the pipette, avoiding excess plant material.
Add 2–3 drops to the sample area of the test strip.
Read the result after 5–10 minutes.
